
UCHEOMA NWAOZURU

I am currently a Doctoral Student in Public Health at Saint Louis University.

My broad research interests include: maternal and child health, adolescents and young peoples' health. I am particularly interested in the use of data-driven, social enterprise and technology-driven intervention to meet health needs of these population. I realized that my research interests continues to grow; ultimately my over-aching interest lies in developing evidence-based interventions and policies to improve population health and well-being.

So far, majority of my experience in public health have been focused on developing and implementing health programs for young people, data analysis, data collection, and global health research (so far in African countries).
​
Outside of research/academics, I love to watch comedies, read books , make beads (**still learning**).
​
